As you journey with Omessence, you will discover what preparations and arrangements are appropriate for you. In the meantime, here are some reccomendations:

    • Complete the waiver before your first class. It only needs to be signed once. Please ensure all participants fill out a form. Email for additional waivers.

    • Dedicate an area in your home to be your hOme studio. Place items such as candles or plants to set an energy of tranquility. Lay out a yoga mat, two yoga blocks and a bolster or pillow to use as props. If able, set up near an empty wall for restorative postures. 

    • Do your best to finish all necessary tasks so your nervous system remains calm after practice.

    • Keep environmental lighting dimmed or off and lower the backlight on your device to reduce stimulation.

    • Use the verbal cues as guidance, not commands. Learn to trust your body’s inner wisdom by choosing and remaining in postures that feel good.

    • Move slowly and breathe deeply.

    • Thank yourself for making time for self care.

    • Avoid screen exposure to preserve your inner harmony.

    • Go to sleep. :)
